Privacy Policy

What follows is a plain-language description of what Competitor Intel currently collects and why, for reference while the actual policy is being drafted — not a substitute for it.

What we collect

Account info — first name, last name, and email address, provided at registration.
Product and research data — the product description you provide, and the competitors, features, news, and analysis the AI pipeline generates from it.
Usage records — which plan-limited actions (research, enrichment, competitor lookups) your account has used, to enforce plan limits.

How it's used

To run the service: authenticating you, running research on your behalf, sending you account and research emails, and enforcing your plan's limits. Product descriptions and research requests are sent to Anthropic's API to generate research output.

Third parties

Anthropic (AI research), and an email delivery provider (account and research notifications). Neither is used for advertising.

Your data

Projects and their research data belong to the account that created them and aren't visible to other users. Contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
